Who We Are
Excellere College is a signatory to the New Zealand Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.
We welcome your application, either directly to Excellere College, or through one of our Partner Agents.
We are a co-educational Christian College for students from Years 1-13. We are committed to meeting academic, physical, spiritual, and social needs of all our students.
We are a state-integrated college, operating with a ‘special character’ which supports Christian values and morals. Our purpose is to serve and work with parents who are involved in their children’s education.
The college structure allows the students a smooth transition through their school years. From early learning foundations to outstanding qualifications in academic achievement the College strives to establish progress for all. In the Senior College students are given the opportunity to gain National Qualifications at the three NCEA levels.
What We Offer
The College is situated on 10 hectares of natural grounds and playing fields, which provide a very pleasant setting. Small classes, with a wide range of specialist learning area add to a learning environment that is both attractive and inviting.
Students are provided with a curriculum that promotes the learning of both academic and life skills. Curriculum delivery is both innovative and common sense, while being encouraging to student directed learning.

Code of Practice
Excellere College has agreed to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Copies of the Code are available from the NZQA website.
Immigration
Full details of immigration requirements, advice on rights to employment in New Zealand while studying, and reporting requirements are available from Immigration New Zealand.
Eligibility for Health Services
Most international students are not entitled to publicly funded health services while in New Zealand. If you receive medical treatment during your visit, you may be liable for the full costs of that treatment. Full details on entitlements to publicly funded health service are available through the Ministry of Health.
Accident Insurance
The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents, and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Further information can be viewed on the ACC Website.
Medical and Travel Insurance
International students (including group students) must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while in New Zealand. (link to travel insurance?)
Student Welfare
A dedicated team cares for and actively monitors student wellbeing. International Student support services include advice and guidance in areas of need, school work, careers and personal development.
The International students support team consists of:

Uniform
