Our NCEA students worked through their exams earlier this week. It was a good opportunity to refresh their learning for the year, and practise in exam conditions. With extra time at school now available next term they are well set to achieve the goals set at the beginning of the year, despite the Covid disruptions. This is a credit to the students, their teachers, and your parental support at home.
Next week a group of our students will be completing an overnight tramp for their Duke of Edinburgh award. Originally set for Waikaremoana, we have had to change the venue due to Lockdown restrictions for travelling through Auckland. They will now be based at Peach Cove, Whangarei Heads and spend their days tramping local beaches and mountains. We wish them well, and pray for settled weather, good sleeps and no blisters.
We will finish Term Three with a mufti day next Friday. Proceeds will go to the Cancer Society in support of Daffodil Day, which was cancelled by Lockdown.
Remember to move your clocks forward an hour, as Daylight saving starts on Sunday.
Blessings
