Kia Ora Parents/Caregivers
We are pleased to announce that our carpark will soon be concreted. WCET will be starting this project during the school holidays, and into early Term Three. This means that you will not be able to enter our driveway for student dropoff and pickups during this time. We are hopeful that this will only be for the first four weeks of Term Three (July 25 – August 22). For safety reasons, we ask our parents to not drop off children at our entrance during this time.
We have arranged with Arise church to use their entrance (off Great North Rd/SH1), and back carpark area as our pick up/drop off zone.
- Students will wait under the Gym verandah (staff supervising)
- Follow the arrows to our courts’ area at the back of the carpark area
- Pickup/dropoff zone is beside the gate to the courts
- Please stay in your car whilst picking up, and be patient
- Exit onto SH1 needs extra care and more patience, especially turning right
If you need to visit school during the day please also park in the Arise carpark, in the centre of the back courts area. Please ensure the Courts’ gate stays closed/chained after you enter/exit the school. Please come to the school office to sign in, at all times.
We are planning that our buses will stop in the laneway at our driveway entrance for pickup and dropoff at the usual times.
Although inconvenient for a short time, this is an exciting development and we ask for your patience and prayers as we continue our growth as a school.
