Our Year 7/8 students attended the local schools’ Winter Tournament last Wednesday. In spite of cool weather they competed well, and returned in good spirits.
We have had Hugh Ozumba, a Music Mentor, visiting us the last two days. Hugh has been working with a small group of musicians developing their song-writing skills. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a current, relevant NZ artist, not only honing the skills of making music but hearing first hand about the opportunities in the NZ music industry.
Next Wednesday our Year 4 – 6 students are off to the Primary Schools’ Winter Tournament. We pray that the weather is kind to them and they enjoy the experience of competing with other schools. Also on Wednesday our Year 7 – 13 students will be participating in our annual school Cross Country event.
We have our first assembly for Term Two next Thursday. Please join us as we celebrate our students’ achievements and fellowship together.
We are all made in the image of God, not physical but the spiritual aspect of love that is God’s nature. This is the image we strive for, daily. The image we see in Jesus.
Blessings

Principal
