Welcome back for term Two. This beautiful autumn sunshine certainly is a great way to start our term, and keep faces smiling.
It was wonderful to see a group of our students at the ANZAC dawn parade during the holidays. The 5.30am start was no barrier, and I thank parents for supporting their children in this event. Our Head students led the local schools in placing a wreath during the ceremony. Lest we forget…
We welcome Gary Walker to our staff for six weeks this term. Gary is a student teacher, in Year 8, and will be sharing his gifts with us all during this time.
During the holidays our deck got a verandah. This will keep the rain off over winter, keeping the deck drier, and provide shade from the sun during the warmer months. We thank WCET for completing this project.
As we settle into another busy term our prayers are for the health and safety of our students and whanau, and that focus on learning is strong amongst our students.
Blessings
